Spiritual Awareness: Faith Required

Do you believe you are spiritually aware of God’s presence? Do you feel His guidance, protection, and love? Maybe you believe He has blessed you, answered prayers, or given peace to your soul. What if your experience is the opposite? Maybe you have doubts, worries, and don’t feel like your direction is certain. Perhaps worse; you go to church, pray regularly, suffer hardship, and don’t see God in your life.

So what makes a difference with God? What can you do to foster God’s attention, presence, and blessings in your life? The answer: FAITH!

Faith is the key. Faith is the currency of Heaven. You must have faith in Jesus to become a saved Christian. You also need ongoing faith to grow your relationship with God.

Heb. 11:6 — But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

But what is real faith? Heb. 11:1 — Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Real faith (saving faith) is an ACTION word. James describes in Jas. 2:17: “Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

Real saving faith is more like unconditional trust. Faith in Jesus includes the belief He was resurrected, the trust He has paved the road to eternal salvation. An intimate (faith-filled) relationship with God includes a lot more:

  • God will guide you, lead you to truth, tell you the future. John 16:13
  • The Lord will watch over you, and keep you from harm. Ps. 121:5-8
  • He will provide you the dreams of your heart. Ps. 37:4-6
  • The Lord plans to prosper you. Jer. 29:11
  • He will heal you when you trust Him. Ps. 41:3
  • The Lord is preparing an eternal home for us in Heaven. Jn. 14:1-3

The bottom line: trust the Lord, wait on the Lord, show real faith. He will never leave you or forsake you. At your worst moments, He will be right at your side if you believe! Does God need anything from us? Yes, He wants our deep faith in Him, our unconditional trust.

Pro. 3:5-6 — Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.

My prayer for you:

The Lord will build up your faith and trust in Him, teach you to be patient, and show you His incredible love for you.

Sincerely,

Dimitri

Spiritual Awareness: Eternal Relationship

Do you want to live forever? Do you hope and pray to be with your loved ones that have gone before you? Can you envision a place of perfect love without any fear, pain, or misery? A place where all the best people in your life are waiting to be with you forever. It’s not just a dream. Being spiritually aware of the truth is essential.

The truth is, there is only one way—Jesus Christ! John 3:15 promises us that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. Jesus answered them in John 10:28, “And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.” We already have the greatest promise in the universe. Jesus Christ has already paved the way to Heaven. Only Jesus could do this. Only Christ could pay our sin debt.

How could this be? We all know someone or have seen people die, or have we?

The answer: we are not just physical bodies. There is a spiritual world. 1 Cor. 15:44 explains it: It is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

Whether we believe it or not, we must be spiritually aware of the truth. In John 3:3, Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” Through Christ, we are “born again” or born of the Spirit. It is this spiritual birth through Christ that gives us an eternal relationship to God and will reunite us with the people we love who have passed before us. This is our blessed hope and our “ticket to Heaven.”

Phil. 3:20: For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.

It is a free gift. It is the only way. It is a one-way ticket to an eternal relationship. You don’t have to be perfect; you don’t have to clean up your life by yourself. The only requirement is to submit with deep faith in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

My prayer for you:

Lord, bless this soul, show them your unconditional love. Let them believe in you, fill them with your Holy Spirit, make them a member of your eternal family.

Thank you, Jesus. Amen.

Sincerely,
