Faith and trust in our world is often undeserved. When we put faith in Jesus Christ and his Lordship , it can lead to everything;

Unlimited forgiveness and grace

Unlimited resources
The desires of our heart
Incomparable love

BIBLICAL FAITH

Faith in God’s Word

God’s word is reliable.

Prov. 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in Him.
Ps. 19:7 The Law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul.

God’s word lives forever.
Mt. 24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
Isa 40:8 The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of God endures forever.

The Bible was inspired by God not by men.
2 Pet. 1:21 for Prophecy never came by the will of men, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
1 Thess. 2:13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe.

God’s word has a purpose.
Isa. 55:11 So is My word that goes out from My mouth: it will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
2 Tim. 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

Faith In God’s Promises

Guarantees from God.

Deut. 31:8 He Will never leave you; He will not leave you or forsake you.
Ps. 18:30 (NLT) God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Isa. 40:31 Those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles, run and not grow weary, and walk and not faint.

As a child of God, He will protect us.
Ps. 32:7 You are my hiding place, you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Isa. 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.
Ps. 5:12 Surely , Lord, You bless the righteous; You surround them with Your favor as with a shield.

Once saved, God promises eternal life.
Jn. 10:28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
1 Jn. 2:25 And this is the promise that He has promised us- eternal life.

Faith In His Power Over Sin and Death

He forgives us and cleanses us from sin.

Eph. 1:7 In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.
1 Jn. 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Ps. 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

He has All power over life and death.
Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jn. 5:24 “ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.
Jn. 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Faith In The Holy Spirit

Jn 14:16-17 “ And I will pray the Father , and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him. for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Eph. 1:13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your Salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise.
Rom. 8:16 The Spirit Himself Bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.

Faith In His Ability to Help Us Through Trials.

Phil. 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
Jas. 1:12 Blessed is the man who endures temptation ; for when he has been approved, he will receive the Crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
Ps. 34:17-19 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; He delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.

Faith In The Lord’s Ultimate Control

Triumph over evil

2 Thess. 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.
1 Jn. 5:4 For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world- our faith.
Ps. 97:10 Let those who love the Lord hate evil, for He guards the lives of His faithful ones and delivers them from the hand of the wicked.

His Ability to know and provide your hearts desire.

Ps: 37:4 Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.
Mt. 7:8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
Jer. 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, “ declares the Lord,” plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

His Ability to control ultimate outcomes.

Rev. 3:8 “ I know your works. See, I have set before you an open door, and no one can shut it.”
Rom. 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
1 Cor. 2:9 “ No eye has seen, nor ear has heard, and no human mind has conceived the things God has prepared for those who love Him.”
Rev. 21:7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be my son.
